The 200cc commuter bike market has been very competitive in India. Bajaj has the Ns200, TVS with the  Apache 200 and who can forget the only mildly offroad capable Hero xpulse.

However, Honda has been lagging in sales, and their hornet 160 couldn't match up to its competitors.
Now Honda has decided to step up their game and will be launching the hornet 200, will this be the hike to give Honda the edge in the 200cc segment?

The bike comes with a larger 184 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which puts out  17.27PS at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6,000rpm. The Hornet 2.0 should prove to be comfortable for long rides as the design remains mostly unchanged.
The design could have been more aggressive in its bs 6 avatar, but Honda has mainly focused on the engine as this is Their first performance-oriented 160cc bike.

The bike is supposed to be launched in the first week of September 2020 and will be 30,000 more expensive than its predecessor starting 1.29 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai.
