India has waited for a long time. Well, the wait is over!

KTM has finally brought the Duke 390's father to India, the KTM Duke 790. The market of KTM in India is huge. Every other bike seen on the road is a KTM, due to its power to weight ratio which makes the bike lethal.

The Duke has been around in the market for a good number of years, the 200, 390 and recently they added the 125 and 250 in thier portfolio aswell.

Now are testing the Indian waters by debuting thier first big bike the 790.

The 790 is powered by a 799cc 2-cylinder motor that churns out 103 bhp and 87 NM of torque. No question it looks like its siblings, the superduke and 390 but with softer edges and the side-swept exhaust which clearly sends out the message that this isnt a bike to be messed with. It gets the trademark TFT dashboard display, traction control, cornering ABS and a dedicated Track Mode.

For 8.63 Lakhs, the Duke 790 is at par with its competitors like the Kawasaki Z900 and the Ducati Monster 797.

We can't wait to get our hands on the bike and take it for a short spin, till then you can check out our first impression of the Duke790!
